Hurford Salvi Carr opens their latest City office in one of London’s property hot spots

Hurford Salvi Carr expands their network of London offices to include a 1,800 sq. ft office in Alie Street, Aldgate E1, next to Goodman’s Fields.

Hurford Salvi Carr has a long standing history of establishing themselves in locations long before the area makes a name for itself. Their new office, in what is now being called the “City Fringes”, is strategically placed to service their existing clientele and the growing number of high quality apartments blocks that are rising up to the east of the City.

The opening of the Aldgate office is seen as particularly important as it compliments Hurford Salvi Carr’s existing network of estate agency offices across Midtown, the City and Docklands. This office will offer the full range of residential and commercial property services and the building will house the company’s Marketing Team.

Paul Driscoll, Director of Hurford Salvi Carr, said, “We identified this area some time ago as having huge potential and have been waiting for the right location and space, which we have now found. Our new office at 61 Alie Street is on the ground floor of Altitude, the completed residential tower by Barratts, opposite Goodmans Fields, making Hurford Salvi Carr easily accessible to new and existing residents in the area.”

Alex Myles, who has been appointed as the Residential Manager, said “It is clear that Aldgate is undergoing a fantastic transformation into a high quality mixed use area. The carefully thought through landscaping connecting the high-value apartments, new retail spaces and restaurants will make this an exceptional place to live. “

The Aldgate area is very well connected, the current underground system provides excellent transport links to other parts of the capital and in 2018 Crossrail will connect Whitechapel and Liverpool Street with Heathrow and Canary Wharf.

Gpad Architects have designed the new office’s interiors, including bespoke window displays and a bespoke 3.5 metre perforated screen that define the different work and meeting zones. Contemporary furniture adds the final touches to this modern office environment, keeping true to the Hurford Salvi Carr design heritage.
